Biography
Brad Pitt is a sensuously handsome blond actor who has emerged as one of the most celebrated big-screen sex symbols of Hollywood. Born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to parents William A. Pitt and Jane Etta Hillhouse, his parents moved to Springfield, Missouri soon after his birth. During his school days, Pitt got involved in sports, debating, student government, and school musicals. After graduating from high school, he attended the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri but left the course, shy of two credits and packed his bags to journey to Hollywood in 1986.
Hollywood Calling
Pitt struggled for the first seven months while in Los Angeles, CA. Soon he signed an agent and started getting regular acting work. He started with small TV serials and hit the jackpot in 1994 when he was cast in the role of a lanky cowboy J.D. in the blockbuster cult movie 'Thelma & Louise.' His short role won him universal attention. His love scene with Geena Davis secured the sex symbol image for him. 'A River Runs through It' followed the success of this movie.
After a series of bad showings on the Box Office, Pitt made a strong comeback statement in 1994, and played lead roles in two great movies, 'Interview with the Vampire' and 'Legends of the Fall.' However, Pitt decided to change the pace of his acting career and made a conscious effort to play diverse roles in movies such as 'Seven,' and his Oscar Awards nominated role for Best Supporting Actor in '12 Monkeys' (both 1995).
Brad Pitt played a lawyer in 'Sleepers' (1996) and an IRA gunman in 'The Devil's Own' (1997). While in 'Seven Years in Tibet' (1997), Pitt adopted an Austrian accent for his role as an egotistical man who undergoes a conversion of sorts when he meets and becomes friends with a youthful Dalai Lama. In 1998, Pitt acted in the languid 'Meet Joe Black.' In movies, such as 'Fight Club' (1999) and 'Snatch' (2000) Pitt got the opportunity to display his muscular and brawny physique.
Parallel to his on-screen successes, Pitt's celebrity status as a handsome Hollywood hunk was soaring and it was around this time that he became romantically involved with the beautiful 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston. The relationship culminated in a fairy tale wedding in 2001.
Post marriage in 2001, Pitt acted in three movies with varying degrees of success 'The Mexican,' 'Spy Game,' and 'Ocean's Eleven.' With the epic 'Troy' (2004), Pitt played the role of Achilles, an Adonis with a vulnerable heel. The same year saw Pitt join the gang of Danny Ocean's team in 'Ocean's Twelve.' By then Pitt had split with Anniston and was linked with Angelina Jolie. The two met while shooting for 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' (2005) and love blossomed and so did the earnings from the ticket sales.
After being away from the big screen, Pitt made another Oscar Award winning performance in the intense drama 'Babel' (2006). In 2007, Pitt will be seen in 'Ocean's 13' and 'The Assassination of Jesse James.'

Hi, I have a great idea for, I suppose what you would call a "Coffee Table Book" (but a pretty cute one). I am well aware this is an open forum but as a single Mum from Australia I cannot afford to sign up to the various sites that want money to get a message to you. I have very little confidence that this is the way to go but it is my first attempt. The book is not invasive and not wordy, apart from explaining a single photo graph of celebrates with their item. I am sure it will be popular and gain attention as it provides the world with a nostalgic look at a certain item most of us have had as a child and kept. Therefore it is not a wordy book but more one of lovey pictures. It would also include the same type of photos of ordinary folk with the same item. I would love you to be involved (Maybe the cover)? Anyway high hopes but please let me know. I can fly over any time that suits you. Mr. Brad Pitt. My Father Dell Church, served with the Navy Sea Bee's in Iwo Jima in world war 2.
He also worked for Hughes Aircraft as an Engineer. He is 91 now and I feel he should be able to experience viewing The new Film Voyage of Time. Of course he is not able to see it at Imax I would like to know if it would be possible to view it at his home . I am the son of Master Sargent William T Perry, tank comander in 2nd A.D. during WWII. Trained by Patton, fighting in Africa and Europe from beginning to end. Many in the Division felt left out of the history books and You and Fury have helped a bunch with that. My Dad was a very tough sargent and never failed to carry out Patton's orders, no matter what. I wish I could drink beer with You and tell His stories to You, some would blow Your mind. I just wanted to say that your wife is making a movie that is long over due!!!I'm a nurse in a nursing home and its my passion, every single soul I touch. I hope you both know that people like me, are out there loving, caring and many times crying for these people that do exist. I know you'll never get this but, I wanted to say, I can help, if needed! I've been a long term nurse in a nursing home for 19 years. I may be able to help her. I'm not a fake! They are my life, my family and closest friends. I don't want a thing from you, just to help your wife, if she ever need another hand to hold any one of the old folks she will be meeting and supporting! I just wanted to say that until today, I didn't realize what type of crap you have to put up with when you become famous. I mean i just saw on TMZ how the press was hounding you and you were just trying to leave in your car. And your poor kids...do they freak out when you want to take family pictures. I think their should be some type of law that stops the paperazzi from photographing your children. I do beleive that they are entitled to that privacy. Shame on them. If you want the public to see your children, you release the pictures. If everyone would stop buying all of the tabloids, maybe they will go broke and leave you alone. I know that I am just a nobody in your world, but it would tick me the HELL off, if I were you. Lots of prayer sent your way and stay safe and keep thoses babies close. T

We have been working on aquiring a 100 year Old School House here in this rural-town that used to be a big Quarry-for Sandstone/ Dairy Farms/ Rail Road systems-Now these Dairies are selling Lad to the Big Ojibwe Bands of Natives. We work w/ the Tribal Peoples in getting Old Schools for 'Creating AFFORDABLE HOUSING' for "All NATIONS"; Economic and Neighborhood Development. From the Hubert Humphey Institute for Economics and Factories here in the East/Central area of N/Minnesota=thelowest per capita, per persn, county in all of Minnesota's counties!
We have Senators with "Stimulus Monies promissed, Co. Commishioners, Businesses, and the Iron-Wker-Carpenters Unions on our side forto confront the Economic Development Authority of Sandstone, Minn. that we are serious about the Historically Registered Old School, and that we will make sure that it is free of asbesdos/lead paint ect.That no parts will fall, and that we will restore to better the Original condition of the Old Building w/ Large Oval Windowws that will have to be remodeled, andthe enterior retrofitted w/ Yi-Fi cable/compt; and that our new roof will be solar w/ a posible wind turbine for our half-off-grid electricityuse and Technologies that we hope to learn from working at our Tec Centers, and from the new and creative careers that are tapped into now in all of these hard financial times.
