“Old Money” is about April and Evan, a once committed young couple who decide to move into their first home. Having to share the cost of living, Evan interviews for a roommate. With the arrival of Jake and his girlfriend, it is revealed that April’s decision to persuade Evan to move out in the first place has been motivated by all the wrong reasons. April - Lead / FEMALE / 20 TO 25 Girlfriend of the protagonist, bright and optimistic, yet all too aware of the mistake she's made. This sets the story into motion. Evan - Lead / MALE / 20 TO 25 Protagonist of the story is caught off guard by the move away. Has reserved demeanor and is trying to make due with the new living situation.
Jake - Principal / MALE / 30 TO 35 New roommate of the lead characters, slightly older and withdrawn. Ideal candidate will have a bigger build and ability to speak with an East Coast accent. Jake's Girlfriend - Principal / FEMALE / 18 TO 25 Noticeably younger girlfriend of Jake, bratty about the entire move-in. Doctor - Minor / MALE / 50 TO 60 Astute physician's appearance, with the ideal candidate having a noticeable tan and peppered gray hair. Man - Minor / MALE / 20 to 25 Non-speaking role yet important.
